Overview
This is a 5-days OVERSEAS (4days in Japan and 1 day in Malaysia) workshop, designed for photographers who want to master the art of storytelling through both digital and black & white photography while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of a Japanese festival in Tokyo. Participants will learn how to plan, execute, develop, and present their photographic work through a combination of hands-on shooting, darkroom practice, and photo book creation.
Through this program, learners will strengthen both their technical and creative skills, gaining practical exposure to on-location challenges and experience the traditional photographic processes : from pre-shoot scouting to darkroom development and final visual presentation.
Itinerary
Day 1 : 原点
A black & white film challenge.
Experience the Joy of shooting on black & white film.
Day 2 : ロケハン
Learn how to do a Location Scout and Plan your shoot.
Day 3 : お祭り
After planning your shoot, now shoot your plan. Transfer the energy of the festival into a photo essay.
Day 4 : 現像+引き伸ばし
You will be in an actual Darkroom. Learning how to develop your own black & white film you shot in the black & white film challenge. And enlarge your own photo.
KL 1 : 編集
A learning session back in KL to output what you had shot. Learn how to tell your amazing story use different layout techniques.
KL 2 : ショータイム
There will have a slideshow session for you to invite your friends & share your works
